If you plan to buy a Google AdSense account in Nigeria, don’t make the mistake of paying for an account simply because it is “approved.”
An approved AdSense account is not automatically a good account.

Many buyers lose hundreds of thousands of naira because they only check whether an account is approved. They completely ignore the account’s history, restrictions, policy violations, and earning potential.
The truth is simple: A bad AdSense account can cost you far more than creating a fresh one.
Whether you’re buying an account for SEO traffic, AdSense arbitrage, YouTube, or a content website, you need a proper inspection checklist.
In this guide, I’ll show you exactly what I personally check before buying any AdSense account.
Should You Buy a Google AdSense Account?
Yes…
But only if you know what you’re buying.
Buying an AdSense account saves time because you avoid:
- Waiting for approval
- Building a new publisher history
- Verifying identity
- Initial setup
However…
Buying the wrong account means you’ll inherit every problem the previous owner created.
These include:
- Previous Ad Limit history
- Invalid traffic history
- Low advertiser trust
- Disabled Ad Manager
- Poor earning potential
This is why your inspection process matters more than the approval itself.
Why Most Buyers Lose Money
Many people advertise accounts like this:
Fully Approved AdSense Account Available For Sale
That’s it.
No additional information.
No history.
No screenshots.
No earning reports.
No explanation.
Then You buy it…
And few weeks later…
- Ads stop serving.
- CPC drops.
- Account gets Ad Limited.
- Ad Manager cannot be activated.
- The account becomes almost useless.
At this point, Money is already out of your account.
Adsense Account History means everything.
Complete Checklist Before Buying Google AdSense Account in Nigeria (2026/27)
Let’s go through every item.
1. Domain Age Must Be At Least 6 Months
This is the first thing I check.
If the AdSense account was approved using a domain that is only a few weeks old, I become cautious.
Personally, I prefer:
- 6 months minimum
- 1 year is even better
Older domains generally have:
- Better trust
- More crawling history
- Better advertiser confidence
- More stable performance
Although new domains can perform well, older approved domains usually come with less risk.
2. Confirm Ads Are Currently Active
This is extremely important.
Ask the seller to show:
- Live ads on the website
- Screenshot inside AdSense
- Current serving status
If ads are no longer serving, ask why.
Sometimes the account has:
- Serving restrictions
- Policy issues
- Ad Limit
Never assume because an account says “Approved” that ads are actually showing.
3. Ask How Many Times the Account Has Received an Ad Limit
This is probably the most ignored question.
Always ask:
How many times has this account received an Ad Limit?
There is a huge difference between:
- Never limited
- Limited once
- Limited multiple times
Accounts with repeated Ad Limits often carry more risk.
If the seller refuses to answer this question…
Walk away.
Transparency matters.
4. Check Whether Google Ad Manager (AdX) Is Active
This is a major one.
Many buyers never check it.
Ask the seller:
- Is Google Ad Manager active?
- Has it ever been activated?
- Was it disabled?
- Was it permanently deactivated?
There are usually three situations.
Active
Excellent.
The account still has Ad Manager.
Never Created
Not necessarily bad.
You can still create one later if eligible.
Deactivated
This deserves investigation.
Ask why.
Sometimes Google disables Ad Manager because of policy violations or invalid traffic.
5. Is the Account Fully Verified?
Identity verification is very important.
Ask whether the account is:
- Fully verified
- Partially verified
- Failed verification
A fully verified account is generally more valuable because identity verification has already been completed.
If verification is still pending, you need to understand:
- Can it still be completed?
- Is the original owner willing to assist?
- Has Google requested additional documents?
Never assume verification can be skipped.
6. Check the Payment Profile
Always inspect the payment section.
Confirm:
- Name on the payment profile
- Country
- Currency
- Whether payments have been received successfully
- Whether there are payment holds
If payments have been delayed multiple times, ask for an explanation.
7. Check for Policy Violations
Policy violations matter.
Ask the seller to open:
Policy Center
Look carefully for:
- Active violations
- Previous violations
- Site issues
- Copyright problems
A clean Policy Center is a huge advantage.
8. Check for Invalid Traffic History
Invalid traffic is one of the biggest reasons publishers struggle.
Ask questions like:
- Was Facebook traffic used?
- Was bot traffic involved?
- Was AdSense arbitrage used?
Not every paid traffic strategy violates policies, but invalid traffic history can create long-term issues.
If the seller cannot explain where the traffic came from…
Walk away.
9. Ask About the Main Traffic Source
A healthy account should have a clear traffic history.
Examples include:
- Google Search
- Bing
- Direct visitors
- Email newsletter
- Social media
If most traffic came from suspicious sources, advertisers may have less confidence in the account.
10. Check Account Age
Older AdSense accounts often have more history.
Examples:
- 2018
- 2019
- 2020
- 2021
This doesn’t automatically make them better.
But an older account with a clean record is usually more valuable than a brand-new account.
11. Check Previous Earnings
Request:
- Last 30 days
- Last 6 months
- Last 12 months
You’re not looking for huge income.
You’re looking for consistency.
An account earning steadily over time often indicates healthier advertiser trust.
12. Has the Account Ever Been Suspended?
Ask directly.
Questions include:
- Has serving ever been disabled?
- Has the account ever been suspended?
- Has Google issued any serious warnings?
If yes…
Find out why.
13. Check Whether the PIN Was Successfully Verified or Failed
The PIN verification process confirms the payment address.
Ask:
- Has the PIN been received?
- Was it verified?
- Any payment address problems?
PIN verification should already be completed on an established account.
14. Check Linked Websites
Many buyers ignore this.
Open the Sites section.
Ask:
- How many websites are linked?
- Which domains were previously monetized?
- Are they still approved?
Some accounts have dozens of old sites with poor histories.
Knowing what was previously connected helps you understand the account’s background.
15. Inspect the Account’s Policy Center Carefully
Don’t just glance at it.
Review every notification.
Look for:
- Repeated warnings
- Disabled pages
- Site restrictions
- Removed ads
- Compliance notices
A clean Policy Center is always preferable.
16. Ask Whether the Account Was Used for AdSense Arbitrage
Ask:
- Was Facebook Ads used?
- Was Taboola used?
- Was Outbrain used?
- Was TikTok Ads used?
- Was native advertising used?
If yes…
Request details about the traffic quality and whether the account experienced restrictions during those campaigns.
An account that handled high-quality, compliant traffic is very different from one that repeatedly triggered invalid traffic reviews.
17. Check Whether the Seller Is the Original Owner
Buying from the original owner reduces risk.
The original owner can usually help with:
- Verification
- Payment issues
- Identity questions
- Recovery if login problems occur
Avoid sellers who cannot clearly explain how they obtained the account.
18. Request Live Screen Sharing or Video Record
Never rely only on screenshots.
Screenshots can be edited.
Ask for a live screen-sharing session where the seller logs into the account and shows:
- Home dashboard
- Policy Center
- Payments
- Sites
- Verification status
- Ad Manager status
- Notifications
A genuine seller should have no issue demonstrating the account in real time, while taking reasonable precautions to protect sensitive information.
19. Check Whether the Account Uses Two-Step Verification
Security is often overlooked.
Ensure the account is protected with:
- Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Updated recovery email
- Recovery phone number
Discuss how ownership will be transferred securely. Changing recovery options without the previous owner’s cooperation can be difficult in some situations.
20. Compare the Price With the Account’s Quality
The cheapest account is rarely the best deal.
A higher-priced account may be worth it if it has:
- Clean policy history
- Active ads
- Fully verified identity
- Stable earnings
- No Ad Limits
- Healthy traffic history
- Active Ad Manager
Red Flags You Should Never Ignore
If you notice any of these, think twice before buying:
- Seller refuses live verification.
- Seller cannot explain the traffic history.
- Multiple Ad Limits with no clear reason.
- Active policy violations.
- Suspended or restricted ad serving.
- Payment profile issues.
- Identity verification problems.
- Deactivated Google Ad Manager without explanation.
- Extremely cheap price that seems too good to be true.
- Pressure to pay immediately.
Questions to Ask Before Sending Payment
Use this checklist when speaking with the seller:
- How old is the approved domain?
- Are ads currently serving?
- Has the account ever received an Ad Limit?
- How many times?
- Is Google Ad Manager active, never created, or deactivated?
- Is the account fully identity verified?
- Has the PIN been verified?
- Has the account ever been suspended?
- Are there any active Policy Center violations?
- What are the main traffic sources?
- Was the account used for AdSense arbitrage?
- Can you show the dashboard in a live screen-sharing session?
- Are you the original owner?
- Are there any payment holds or unresolved issues?
If the seller answers these questions clearly and provides evidence, you’re in a much better position to make an informed decision.
My Recommendation
If you’re planning to buy a Google AdSense account in Nigeria, don’t focus only on the approval badge.
Look at the account’s complete history.
A clean, fully verified account with active ads, no serious policy issues, a healthy traffic record, and a stable payment history is usually worth paying more for than a cheap account with hidden risks.
Treat an AdSense account like a business asset. Do proper due diligence, ask difficult questions, verify everything you can, and never rush because of a “limited-time offer.”
The more carefully you inspect an account today, the less likely you are to face costly surprises tomorrow. This checklist will help you evaluate any Google AdSense account in Nigeria with greater confidence before you pay.
